The job involves compiling the calendar every week and occasionally Slogging about what you see out there, art-wise. It's an 8-hour weekly commitment that lasts three months, and you should be able to come in to the Capitol Hill office to work.
My ideal candidate is someone who wants to be an art critic eventually and while the internship is unpaid, most of my interns write at least one published piece by the end of their time. Minimally, I need someone who knows the basics of contemporary art and the local scene (somebody who will notice if a major event is missing from the listings, for instance).
